Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This Policy explains how Level Up collects, uses, retains, discloses and protects personal information submitted by visitors, prospects, customers and partners of levelupqc.ca.

It is written in plain language to clearly inform visitors, in accordance with the principles of Québec's privacy legislation.

1. Person Responsible for Personal Information

Marc-André Lévesque, the operator of Level Up Québec, currently acts as the person responsible for the protection of personal information. He can be contacted about questions, access requests, corrections, withdrawal of consent, complaints or any request concerning the use of your personal information.

Current service email: info@levelupqc.ca

2. Information We Collect

Level Up limits the collection to the information required to respond to requests and provide its services. This may include:

  • Name and surname;
  • business or organization name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • details provided in a form, email or discussion about a project, need or situation;
  • when a form is sent, the submission page, the previous page reported by the browser and any campaign parameters present in the address;
  • language preference and privacy choices stored locally in your browser.

The site can also generate basic technical data, such as IP address, device type, browser used, pages viewed and security logs produced by web hosting.

3. Why We Use This Information

The information is used only for the following purposes:

  • respond to a request sent by form, email or message;
  • assess a need, prepare a meeting or propose a solution;
  • provide a requested service or customer follow-up;
  • improve the website, the clarity of offers and the user experience;
  • understand, from voluntarily submitted inquiries, which pages or sources contributed to a contact;
  • retain your local preferences, such as language and confidentiality;
  • ensure site security, prevent abuse and comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Consent and Withdrawal

By voluntarily submitting your information by form, email or other means of communication, you consent to their use for the purposes set out in this policy.

You can withdraw your consent or ask about the use of your information by writing to info@levelupqc.ca. Withdrawal may be limited by certain legal, contractual or administrative obligations already under way.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

Level Up does not sell your personal information. It may, however, be disclosed to service providers or collaborators when necessary to operate the website, respond to a request, deliver a service or maintain security.

This may include web hosting, email, storage, payment, project management or professional collaborators involved in a mandate. Some technology providers may process or host information outside of Québec or Canada. In this case, Level Up takes into account the protective measures applicable before providing this information.

6. Retention and Destruction

Personal information is retained only for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to ensure reasonable follow-up, to comply with a legal obligation or to protect the rights of Level Up.

When these purposes are met, the information is deleted, anonymized or securely archived where possible.

7. Security and incidents

Level Up takes reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, loss or disclosure. However, no transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

If a confidentiality incident involving personal information occurs, Level Up shall take reasonable measures to reduce risk, document the incident and, where required by law, notify the persons concerned or the competent authorities.

8. Your Rights

Under applicable laws, you can request access to the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, withdraw your consent, request the deletion of certain information, ask a question about their use or request a copy in a structured technological format where this right applies.

You may also file a complaint or request information about the categories of people who can access your information within Level Up, retention periods and how to exercise your rights.

To exercise these rights, write to info@levelupqc.ca. We may need to confirm your identity before processing the application.

9. Cookies and Measurement Tools

The current version of the website does not use active advertising cookies, analytics tools or marketing profiling installed by Level Up.

The website uses only what is necessary for operation: privacy choices, basic security, form functionality and technical data produced by the browser or hosting provider.

The privacy banner confirms this choice. Analytics and marketing categories remain disabled by default. If analytics, advertising, tracking, location, identification or profiling tools are added later, this Policy will be updated and clear consent will be requested before they are activated.

10. Default Privacy

Level Up applies a minimization approach: only relevant information for the purposes indicated is requested. Unnecessary tracking, analysis or marketing features are not enabled by default.

11. Changes

Level Up may amend this policy to reflect the evolution of the site, services or applicable obligations. The update date indicated at the top of the page provides the latest version.

This Policy provides general information and does not replace legal advice tailored to a particular situation.
