Menu Maison · Live family application · 2026
Thousands of recipes. One journey all the way to the pantry.
Level Up designed and developed a Web application that connects recipe selection, menu generation, a calendar, grocery planning and home inventory.

The product
A family application anyone can start using without an account.
Menu Maison lets people explore more than 9,000 recipes, build a menu for a selected period and household size, then continue into the calendar, grocery list, budget and pantry. An optional account keeps menus and favourites available across devices.

Carry the same decision through the entire planning process.
Recipes, menus, calendars, shopping and what remains at home are often managed separately. The product needed to bring these tasks together without making family life more complicated, while staying readable on desktop and mobile.
Guiding idea
A decision made once should remain useful everywhere.
A selected recipe becomes a planned meal. The calendar structures the period, the grocery list gathers what is needed and the pantry helps track what is already available.
Recipes
Search and filters by category, origin, dish type, difficulty, preparation time, style and preferences.
Menu
Period, household size, meal types, style, leftovers and exclusions guide the generator.
Calendar
Meals can be viewed by day, week or month, then adjusted as needed.
Groceries and inventory
The list, estimate and pantry carry the plan through to shopping.
The experience in pictures
A simple journey from choosing recipes to grocery planning.
These screens show the application as a family can explore it in guest mode on menumaison.ca.

Mobile first
Essential tasks stay within thumb’s reach.
Home, recipes, menu creation, calendar and grocery planning are grouped in the mobile navigation.
Beyond recipes
Features designed for the full meal-planning journey.
Menu Maison brings precise generation choices, a calendar, grocery planning, budgeting, a pantry and food tracking into one experience.
Allergy and ingredient exclusions
The generator and catalogue reduce results based on stated exclusions, with a clear warning that users should always verify product labels.
Favourites, sharing and reporting
Recipes can be saved, selected for a menu, shared or reported when a correction is needed.
Grocery budget and deals
A prudent estimate supplements the grocery list and opens dedicated budget and deal views.
Pantry and expiry dates
Products can be tracked by quantity, location and expiry date, with reminders calculated in the interface.
Progressive Web application
A tool available in the browser and installable on a phone.
Menu Maison works in guest mode so people can try the journey without an account. Creating an account remains optional and is used to keep menus and favourite recipes available across devices.
- Navigation adapted to small screens.
- Installation manifest for the home screen.
- Optional account and secure sign-in.
